Meet Apostle Vandross
Apostle Dr. Robert Allen Vandross is one of seven children born to the late Mr. Thomas Vandross, Sr., and the late Mrs. Virgie Crawford Vandross in Cordesville, SC. In May 1977, Apostle Vandross accepted the Lord as his personal Savior at the age of 23. From that point on, his plans and life had changed forever by the Spirit of God. His grandmother, the late Mrs. Sarah Oliver, had prophesied that he would one day be a great man of God. Although Apostle did not believe what his grandmother had spoken, he was called to the prophetic ministry from the book of Jeremiah 1:5; "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." This took place on August 18, 1977; the day Apostle's grandmother passed away. For several years, Apostle ran from his calling that was upon his life before he finally answered the call to the prophetic ministry. His initial sermon was taken from the book of Isaiah 6, entitled, "God Can Use You."

On November 2, 1985, Apostle and First Lady Priscilla Vandross were united in holy matrimony. They have been blessed with four children: Dion (an anointed minister of the gospel who transitioned from earth to glory in 2016), Brittany (who also ministers the gospel, and is the Youth Pastor of Word In Life), Jessica, and D'ona. They've also been blessed with eight grandchildren: Christian, Xavier (Alex), Jayden, Kiana (Grace), Kirsten, Khloe, Brayden, and Bryleigh.
Apostle Vandross has been ministering the gospel of Jesus Christ for over 30 years. He walks in a powerful Apostolic and prophetic anointing. This mighty man of God expounds and teaches the word of God with simplicity, enabling everyone to understand. He strongly believes in the power of prayer and in the laying on of hands to bring about the working of miracles, healings, and deliverances from satanic bondages in the lives of God's people. In these last days, Apostle Vandross' main focus and purpose is to fulfill the mandate the Father has placed upon his life, and to see the vision given to him by God fulfilled, thus ministering to the total man. He is dedicated and committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ. Apostle Vandross is also a firm believer in living holy before God, and that our everyday life should be the epitome of the word of God.
