Meet Lady Priscilla G. Vandross
Dr. Priscilla G. Vandross is one of seven children born to the late William Arthur and Earline Richardson Glenn in Moncks Corner, SC. She received the Lord Jesus Christ into her life, and was baptized with the Holy Ghost in July 1981. She retired from in 2018 Berkeley County School District, where she served as the Printing Manager for over 30 years. In addition to working full-time, and supporting her husband in ministry, Dr. Vandross enjoys sewing, graphic designing and printing, reading cooking, baking, and she enjoys spending time with her beautiful grandchildren.
In 1989, Dr. Vandross received the call from God to minister to women by spreading the message of hope, deliverance, and the love of God through workshops, and women's conferences. She is a faithful believer that prayer is the answer to all of life's problems and situations. |
Within a year of the birth of Word In Life Outreach Ministries (formerly Word In Life Christian Fellowship Church), Dr. Vandross established Word In Life Youth Choir, a women's ministry entitled Women Willing to Stand Ministries, and the Youth Ministry for teenage boys and girls. Through the leading of the Holy Ghost, Apostle Dr's . Duane and Carol Sherman of Chicago, IL were inspired to recognize Dr. Vandross for her many years in Christian Ministry by awarding her an honorary Doctorate in Religion in 2006 from the Ramah Institute of Theology (Chicago, IL).
In 2011, Dr. Vandross was appointed as secretary of Word Bible Institute in North Charleston, SC under the leadership of Bishop Lawrence L. Jerideau. She served in this capacity for 2 years. In 2014, Dr. Vandross established a support group for pastor's wives entitled S.W.O.M.P. (Supporting Wives of Ministers and Pastors).
Dr. Vandross studied at Strayer University of Charleston, SC in pursuit of a degree in Business. Upon retiring from her current employment, her vision is to establish a business, and dedicate more time to ministry. In addition to continuing to support her husband in ministry, Dr. Vandross' main focus is to offer strong support to women dealing with everyday struggles, and to spread the message of hope and faith in Jesus.
