First Lady

Dr. Priscilla K. Vandross

Dr. Priscilla K. Glenn-Vandross is a devoted woman of faith, dedicated wife, spiritual leader, and beloved First Lady of  Word in Life Outreach Ministries. Born on November 2, 1959, in Moncks Corner, South Carolina, she is the daughter of the late Mrs. Earline Richardson-Glenn and Mr. William Arthur Glenn. A proud graduate of Berkeley High School, Class of 1977, she continued her education at Trident Technical College and Strayer University in Charleston, SC. Her academic achievements include an Associate Degree in Business Administration/Management and a Lifetime Honorary Doctorate in Christian Ministry from Ramah Bible Institute of Theology in Schererville, Indiana, in recognition of her decades of faithful service in ministry.

​Professional Service and Faith Journey

 

​Dr. Vandross served the Berkeley County School District with excellence for over 37 years, where she held the position of Printing Manager. Her integrity, leadership, and commitmentleft a meaningful legacy that continues to be rememberedby her colleagues and community. Her relationship with Christ began at the age of 21 during a revival service held at the Kitfield Classroom in Moncks Corner. It was there that she experienced a life-changing encounter with Godthrough the ministry of the man who would later become her husband,  Apostle Dr. Robert A. Vandross. This encounter sparked a transformative journey of faith that would shape the trajectory of her life and ministry.

Ministry and Leadership

 

Dr. Vandross played a vital role in helping to facilitate the start of Word in Life Outreach Ministries, where she continues to servefaithfully as First Lady and spiritual leader. Inpartnership with her husband, she helped organize and facilitate the structure of various ministries that were established within the organization—ministries designed to support spiritual development, strengthen the family unit, and foster the Christian community. Her involvement has been essential in ensuring the ministry’s vision is carried out with excellence, compassion, and order. In 2015, she received divine confirmation to preach the Gospel. On December 9th of that year, she delivered her first sermon entitled “It Is in Your Hands” (2 Peter 1:2–9), a message that ignited a new level of purpose and power in her life. Since then, Dr. Vandross has become a bold and compassionate voice of encouragement, particularly for women navigating life’s many challenges.

 

A Woman of Strength and Inspiration

Dr. Vandross draws strength from Ephesians 6:13–17, a passage that speaks of putting on the full armor of God. This scripture undergirds her life and ministry, reminding her daily of the spiritual authority and protection found in God’s Word. She lives by a deep trust in the promises of God—believing them to be faithful, true, and transformative. Beyond her ministry roles, Dr. Vandross has enjoyed

numerous creative and family-centered interests, including sewing, printing, reading, cooking, and baking. Above all, she finds the greatest joy in thecompany ofher beloved children and grandchildren, whom she holds close to her heart.

 

Dr. Priscilla K. Glenn-Vandross serves as a shining example of steadfast faith andgodly character. Through her grace, wisdom, and unwavering trust in God, she continues to inspire those around her to walk boldly in their calling and rely wholly on the guidance of the Lord.
